This Feimoli Cake is a dessert shop often recommended by my good friend Xiaowen on Facebook! It’s located in Xingang, Chiayi — quite far from us.... We had been longing for it for so long. Finally, we managed to arrange a trip to Chiayi and immediately galloped over to taste the handmade cakes~~ For Sally, a total dessert lover, this trip was absolutely delightful XD But we didn’t expect Xiao Hu to like it too!He even said he wanted to come again ?? Scared everyone’s fur, friends and folks in Chiayi can go try it fresh. Those from other counties, first enjoy the article and sniff the aroma.... Wait for the day you can rush over~~

Actually, Feimoli is a homophone of the English word "Family", because this is a family-run shop’d. To learn more about their story, welcome to check out their fan page~~ Every dessert, cake, and drink sold here is made with premium ingredients and contains no chemical additives! They stick to the philosophy of “what the family eats, the guests eat”.... So the cakes offered each day will vary!Sometimes the flavor you get today may not appear tomorrow, it all depends on what the chef feels like making that day (;´锭?多). Perfect for fickle customers~

This trip to Chiayi was truly rare!Xiao Hu and Sally went all out and devoured several cakes XDD. Actually, it was after arriving at Feimoli and seeing the cakes in the chiller that were just too tempting.... Each one was calling out to us~ And the price for each item is almost all 100 NT, instantly triggering our inner rich-girl hearts as we blurted out: “One of each!” Surprisingly enough..... we ate them all up without realizing, and although full, we didn’t feel our blood sugar spike too much. It really shows the quality of the ingredients used!Made Hu Li feel like she was part of the Feimoli family too XDD. If you love naturally handmade, delicious sweets, keep reading the introduction...........

【Mango Custard】NT$100
This mango-flavored cake, made with seasonal mangoes, is a big hit with Xiao Hu~~ The custard base is made with high-quality fresh eggs, vanilla seeds, and fresh milk, cooked without adding a single drop of water until it’s richly fragrant! It’s refreshing and not overly sweet, for someone like Xiao Hu who rarely eats desserts.... it’s simply a win!

Fresh mango is added, and the filling is very generous~~ Paired with a specially made cake body, it’s smooth and pleasant. Xiao Hu almost snatched it away and didn’t let Sally have any!

The melt-in-your-mouth whipped cream carries a mango aroma.... The cake has a firm texture, giving the whole thing more layered flavors :)

【Uji Matcha Fresh Milk】NT$100
Matcha lovers, step forward! The photos on Feimoli’s fan page are already enticing enough... but seeing it in person is completely irresistible XD, and it also satisfies whipped cream fans~~~ Every layer of filling is packed! With berries added for decoration to enhance the flavor, making the whole cake more textured!

Sally likes this one more, because Xiao Hu himself isn’t a big matcha fan = =. The fresh tea aroma is light and elegant, and only when you take a sip and let it slowly melt in your mouth do you realize its richness!Recommended for matcha lovers or those who don’t usually have a sweet tooth~~~

【Blueberry Party】NT$100
Chocolate is a dessert many can’t resist! This Blueberry Party with rich chocolate sauce and sweet-and-sour blueberries isn’t too sweet ^^, you can tell it’s made with top-quality chocolate, and the subtle bittersweet taste is very addictive. Xiao Hu said this is her No. 1 favorite~~ (She doesn’t even like sweets but loves this, how strange)

There are several blueberries on the cake, decorated with mint leaves.... So beautiful it’s unreal!

When you scoop it with a fork, you’ll find it’s super rich!Occasionally eating some chocolate makes your mood so much better~~ Girls, remember not to miss the Blueberry Party when you see it!

【Faviana Cheesecake】NT$100
Those who love chocolate desserts must know Faviana!Feimoli combines it with specially selected cheese to create this cake that’s both chewy and full of sweet-and-sour layers. Sally really likes the Faviana Cheesecake~~ When she saw one in the chiller, she immediately bought an extra one to take back to her hometown to serve her grandma!
★ Faviana Cheesecake 7T NT$700

In the middle is a densely textured slightly sour cheese, tightly wrapped by Faviana chocolate...., with a bit of moisture that makes it very smooth~~ Sally’s family all loved it after trying it~~

【Banana Chocolate】NT$100
There must be quite a few people who like banana desserts~~ Even Xiao Hu, who rarely eats sweets, thinks this one is pretty good! One reason we like Feimoli cakes is.... the sweetness is just right to enhance the flavor, not overwhelmingly sweet XD, even if you eat several it’s okay~~~

【Mango Cheesecake】NT$100
Sally usually loves tart cheesecakes, but she’s less into mango desserts. However, this one from Feimoli is actually pretty good~~~ Just seeing that thick layer of white cheese gets the girly heart racing!

The moment you cut into it with a fork..... the visual is too beautiful to bear~~~

【Summer Fresh Fruits】NT$120
That day, since we ordered quite a few cakes and were enjoying them happily.... right when we were almost done, Feimoli had just finished making a new cake! Such a rare occurrence must be seized immediately~~ We quickly ordered an extra slice to try~~~ The refreshing fruits paired with whipped cream were simply dreamy! The cake body had a strong eggy aroma, which Xiao Hu really liked~

Just look at how the whipped cream is melting down — super enticing~~ This melt-in-your-mouth, refreshing whipped cream could basically be eaten by the tub XDDD

The sweet and tangy fresh fruit is super appetizing, and the smooth whipped cream perfectly balances the overall flavor ^^ — perfect for anyone who loves fruity desserts!

【Champion Special Blended Handmade Hot Coffee】NT$100
Dessert is best enjoyed with a cup of black coffee. The coffee here is quite unique too — it’s made from champion competition beans, and the price is so affordable, we don’t know what to do... Have one hot and one iced, why not? XD The hot coffee tastes richer but is better paired with cake.

【Champion Special Blended Handmade Iced Coffee】NT$100
Iced coffee is great for cooling down in the summer. It has a lighter intensity, so even Xiao Hu, who doesn’t usually drink coffee, can enjoy it :) We’re not coffee experts yet — though we can tell good from bad, it’s a bit hard to describe the full range of flavors... But if you love coffee, go try the champion special blend and share your thoughts with Hu Li~ ( ¤467$ '+. ¤467$

Life needs experiences, and life needs trying!“Taste” is a very subjective thing. It’s only when expectations are met and emotions are stirred that the flavor of love can be achieved.
