Crossing from Kaohsiung’s Hsingda Port to Tainan’s Anping Port – the Happiness Bus Route 17 Sets Sail Today

Route 17 runs along Provincial Highway 17 and spans a distance of 17 kilometers. It operates hourly from 8 AM to 8 PM on national holidays and weekends, with a total of 26 trips per day. The route passes major attractions such as the Qieding Coastal Recreation Area, Golden Coast, and Yide Jincheng Fortress.
The Xingda Port Tourist Fish Market has also planned the Red 71 bus to connect with the Gangshan Transfer Station, allowing seamless transfers to the MRT. The newly opened Xingda Port multi-level parking lot provides 140 parking spaces for small vehicles. In addition to offering free parking for those transferring to the Happiness Bus Route 17, starting August 1st, it will also provide 15 bicycles for free borrowing by parkers.
