Breaking News / High-speed rail services suspended before 16:00 on the 8th!

Due to the impact of Typhoon Soudelor,Taiwan High-Speed Rail has adjusted its train schedule for the 8th, with all services suspended before 16:00.

1. From 16:00 (inclusive) to 22:00, Taipei Station (southbound) and Zuoying Station (northbound) will each operate three all-stations-stop, non-reserved-seat trains per hour (excluding business class), with departure times at the :00, :20, and :40 marks on the hour.
2. To facilitate passenger transport in central Taiwan, one all-stations-stop, non-reserved-seat train will depart from Taichung Station to Taipei Station and one to Zuoying Station at 16:00.
3. Additionally, at 23:00, one all-stations-stop, non-reserved-seat final train will depart from Taipei Station to Taichung Station (southbound) and from Zuoying Station to Taichung Station (northbound).
4. Any further operational adjustments due to weather conditions are expected to be announced by 09:00 on the 8th (tomorrow).
