Flight chaos Taoyuan Airport urges airlines to provide clear information

Typhoon Soudelor disrupted flights, leaving many passengers with canceled or delayed itineraries, some even forced to sleep at the airport, prompting numerous complaints. Taoyuan Airport stated that it hopes all airlines can provide clear information because on the 8th alone, as many as 366 flights were affected.
Taoyuan Airport said the reason for public complaints this time was that flight inquiry hotlines failed to communicate effectively with passengers in a timely manner, leading to dissatisfaction. It also expressed hope for future improvements to enhance communication. (Source: Central News Agency)
