The "Leaning Mailbox," hit by the signboard of a cosmetic clinic, became an internet sensation due to its endearingly tilted appearance, earning it the title "the most heartwarming disaster victim of the typhoon." It has become a unique sight at the Longjiang Road intersection in Taipei and has even been featured in Japanese media.

Since the weather cleared up on the 9th, the "Leaning Mailbox" has attracted large crowds taking photos. According to Facebook statistics, over 1,700 people have checked in at the site, with the number still rising. Chunghwa Post has even dispatched uniformed mail carriers to take shifts on-site, maintaining order and taking commemorative photos with visitors.

Chunghwa Post also stated that, in response to public demand, the "Leaning Mailbox" will remain in its current location and continue to offer postal services. They also plan to install a signboard as a testament to Typhoon Soudelor and may release related souvenir merchandise.
