This GOGO Pork Ribs (translated by Korean Nest as "Tall Tall Pork Ribs") has been super popular online lately. We kept seeing Korean netizens sharing this place, so we decided to go with two friends. As expected, the business was booming—we had to wait in line when we arrived. It's really popular, and it’s even been featured on a food TV show before. The staff are super friendly, and there’s a Chinese-speaking auntie who was really nice and explained the menu to us. Foreigners won’t have any trouble eating here either.
The place is located down an alley and isn’t easy to find, but navigating with Naver Map actually makes it pretty straightforward.

Notice anything? The chairs for people waiting outside are pastel-colored.

If you’re coming alone, come at lunchtime—you can get a set meal. Available from 12 PM to 3:30 PM on weekdays.

Business is booming—there are tables and chairs set up outside and they’re all full.

We waited a bit before getting a table. When we went in April, there was a promotion: 1,000 KRW off per person for the BBQ.

You can click on the menu images above to enlarge and see them more clearly. What we ordered was actually quite simple: 1 GO of Piopaseu (bbq pork) – Cosmic Pot seasoned pork ribs, 200g per person / 13,000 KRW. This is a must-order, and you should definitely get at least two portions. Then there’s the red-lined Piopaseu – Bear? Recommended Cosmic Pot Sun Fried Rice (for 2 or more), 20,000 KRW per person. You cannot order just the Cosmic Pot Sun Fried Rice by itself. So the three of us ordered two portions of the seasoned ribs and two portions of the sun fried rice, but it wasn’t quite enough—we’d recommend one portion each. Though it’s not cheap...

Order placed—waiting for the food. They brought out an orange water pitcher, but it wasn’t very big. We drank it all pretty quickly.

We later asked for more water, and the new pitchers came in different colors—so cute.

The side dishes came first, and they’re all refillable. The colorful plates also really brightened our mood.

Big thumbs up for this salad—it uses a special house-made black pepper dressing that’s really delicious.

The three side dishes were also great. I especially loved the mashed potatoes in the middle.

We later ordered three more side dishes, and they came out on three different colored small plates—great plating skills.

Now the main dishes arrive!! The two wooden sticks at the top made me think of ancestors at first.

This looks super UFO-like. I was drawn in by this photo too.

The two wooden blocks are specially made so you don’t burn your hands opening the lid—haha. Inside is a bunch of bean sprouts.

We only ordered two portions, and it looked a bit sparse, but the portion is smaller because part of it is already in our bowls. The server cut the ribs open and served them, then divided them for us automatically, so it looked a bit less.

Super delicious (rolling on the floor!!!)
The pork ribs are super tender. The seasoning is done in the classic Korean style—slightly sweet, but not spicy.

It’s even good with salad dressing.

We finished the main course quickly, and then came what I was really waiting for. You can’t just order the Cosmic Pot Sun Fried Rice—you have to order the ribs to get this fried rice because it’s probably the star dish.

A ring of scallion egg, with pork ribs, rice cakes, cheese, and kimchi fried rice in the middle—it’s just amazing.

Cheese pull time!!!!!!!

⟨NL⟩ Stir it up before eating~~~ The rice cakes are white and chubby, looking super chewy.

Stirred up—let’s eat.

⟨NL⟩ The kimchi fried rice has a slight kick, and the Korean chili sauce seasoning is really impressive. It’s just a common flavor, but it’s really delicious. And I highly recommend the rice cakes—they’re incredibly tasty.

If you want more crispy rice crust, just cook it a bit longer — there’s plenty of it~

The egg was cooked too thin, so it ended up a bit too hard once done, but it was still okay.
Thoughts: All three of us were super satisfied!! Aside from finding the food really delicious, the tableware and plates were also very pleasing to the eye. But it’s a bit pricey — to eat to your satisfaction, one person would spend over thirty thousand KRW, which isn’t exactly cheap. But we still felt really happy because it was such a novel and tasty experience!! If you really want to try it but think the price is too high, then definitely come during weekday lunch — weekday lunches have set meals that are much cheaper, though the tableware might not be as impressive.
