China Airlines launches Kaohsiung–Changzhou route on Sept. 16, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays

China Airlines will launch the Kaohsiung–Changzhou route starting September 16, operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The inaugural flight will be operated by a Boeing B737-800 aircraft, offering 8 business class seats and 150 economy class seats. Passengers can combine their itinerary with entries or exits via Kaohsiung—Pudong or Kaohsiung—Hangzhou for more flexible travel options. Interested travelers can check it out.

The outbound CI579 flight from Kaohsiung to Changzhou will depart Kaohsiung International Airport at 11:00 AM and arrive in Changzhou at 1:20 PM. The return CI580 flight will depart Changzhou at 2:20 PM and arrive in Kaohsiung at 4:35 PM. Initially, regular flights will be operated using the ERJ-190 aircraft, with capacity to be increased from October 25 onwards by switching to the Boeing B737-800 aircraft.

China Airlines is actively expanding its cross-strait market in southern Taiwan. Changzhou is the third city to have direct flights from Kaohsiung, following Shanghai and Hangzhou, and is also the first and only airline in Taiwan to operate flights to Changzhou. Additionally, early bird promotional fares start as low as TWD 6,700 (before tax).
