On Thursday while heading home, I passed by Fùjǐn Street in Mínshēng Community and noticed a new store next to Feījǐn Bread. After looking it up at home, I found out this is Locofood’s new branch in Mínshēng Community. I remembered their egg rolls were pretty tasty, so I headed straight there on Friday morning.

Business was pretty good in the morning. They actually have two stores—the one on the right with green signage sells juice and is their new brand.

To be honest, the prices are a bit steep XD, but the names are all super creative. Old K decided to go to the left store for the egg rolls.

Turns out it’s the same as the Locofood I had before—same owner XD

But the product variety here isn’t as extensive as the main store. This place focuses mainly on egg rolls, unlike the main store which also offers burgers. So Old K opted for two types of egg rolls XD. The most unique thing here is that you can’t tell the flavor from the name of the dish XD. In the end, Old K ordered the boss-recommended PAUL Love German-Style Sausage Scramble and the straightforward Seafood Anchovy Flavor, plus an Early Morning Black Tea. After ordering and paying, you get a number and wait at the counter to pick up your food.

Since the egg rolls are served in mini iron skillets, there were lots of little skillets hanging around—pretty cute indeed.

Eating egg rolls here also lets you keep up with trends because it’s standing dining (standing eaters only) XD. But since the meal doesn’t take long, it’s totally fine.

Early Morning Black Tea (30 TWD)
Here comes Old K’s order—two mini skillets. The egg rolls here are basically what we’d call egg pancakes. The black tea tastes a bit sweeter, but the tea flavor is quite rich and not too astringent, smooth and pleasant.

Help yourself to forks and seasonings.

Their chili sauce is pretty flavorful—don’t miss it if you like spicy food.

PAUL Love German-Style Sausage Scramble (65 TWD)
This flavor turned out to be egg rolls wrapped around German sausage. Old K thought it might be something like sukiyaki XD. The outer layer of the egg roll is super crispy, while the inside is soft and chewy. Paired with the tender egg and springy German sausage, it’s quite delicious. The sausage isn’t too salty, so the overall taste isn’t heavy. Old K thought it was just right—if you prefer stronger flavors, you can add some soy sauce.

Old K prefers to dip it directly in the chili sauce—it’s so satisfying you’ll break into a sweat XD.

Seafood Anchovy Flavor (65 TWD)
Compared to PAUL Love German-Style Sausage Scramble, this flavor looks a bit plain XD. I initially thought the anchovies would be wrapped inside, but it seems they’re cooked together with the egg. It’s an egg roll with a strong seafood flavor, featuring anchovies and seaweed sprouts. The taste is relatively refreshing. Old K still prefers the texture of PAUL Love German-Style Sausage Scramble because of the springy German sausage.
Old K’s Tip: Fùjǐn Street is really lively. Now there’s an egg roll specialty store here. The prices are a bit high, but the flavors have their own uniqueness. For those in Mínshēng Community craving egg rolls, there’s another great option. Guys might want to order two egg rolls like Old K, or maybe some fried items, or even just enjoy them as afternoon tea.
