Earlier this year, there were reports that Tsukiji Market would be relocated to the new Toyosu Market, 2.3 kilometers away, in 2016. As someone who’s left quite a few footprints at Tsukiji Market, I documented some interesting sights during my walks before the relocation. Which of the following brings back memories of your visit to Tsukiji Market?

You have to visit Tsukiji Market when you’re in Tokyo!! I always come here whenever I’m in Tokyo^^ There are shrines and temples next to the market, and the buildings have very unique designs.

Tsukiji Market is divided into the inner market and the outer market.

For those who can’t get into the inner market, the outer market still offers plenty of fun things to eat, drink, and do.

Huge and succulent fish.

So much to see, you’ll never finish exploring.

A shopping paradise for housewives—every meal gets an upgrade.

Eating sushi is a must-do activity.

Sea urchin sushi + tuna sushi are absolutely must-tries.

Totally satisfying!!!!!!!
