Taipei Autumn Travel Expo Kicks Off on August 28 – Meal Vouchers Start at 44% Off

The 2015 Taiwan International Travel Exhibition will be held from August 28 to 31 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, featuring exhibitors such as tourism bureaus from various countries stationed in Taiwan, airlines, major domestic travel agencies, hotels, homestays, and food and gift vendors. The event will showcase popular travel destinations in Taiwan, recommend premium travel packages, and offer affordable travel promotions. A variety of discounted meal vouchers from local hotels will also be available.

For meal vouchers, the Huayang Grand Hotel offers a 49% discount on weekday Cantonese sharing set meals for 2–3 people (voucher: NT$980), while the Jiuhua Tower’s Forbidden City Imperial Set Meal voucher (NT$980) is 44% off. The Regent Taipei provides a 50% discount on its weekday and weekend shark fin set meal single voucher for NT$1,050. The Grand Hyatt Taipei – 3F Chisa Japanese Restaurant offers a 69% discount on a 4-person lunch or dinner buffet voucher for NT$960. The Westin Taipei – Silks Palace offers a 68% discount (buffet and one main course per person) on its Silk Road Feast interactive dining restaurant, with a 1-person lunch or dinner voucher priced at NT$1,518 (discounted to NT$1,030). 　

Other deals include a 57% discount on the Golden Phoenix Hall’s weekday afternoon tea set (NT$440) for one person at the Regent Inn (voucher: NT$249); a 66% discount on a selected European main course plus self-service salad bar (NT$1,188, discounted to NT$780) at the Taipei Tiancheng Hotel’s Lily Café for one person; and a 2-person charcoal-grilled ribeye steak set at Taipei Garden Hotel’s PRIME ONE Steakhouse, discounted 82% from an average of NT$5,852 to NT$4,800 (about NT$2,400 per person).
