To celebrate the 104th year of the Zhujian Kite Festival in Hsinchu City, the Hsinchu City Government and the Stunt Kite Sports Association held a kite carnival at Nanliao Fishing Port Square on September 5 and 6.

The Hsinchu City Government has been tirelessly promoting the sport of kite flying, and its most famous event, the "Thousand Kites Event," has become a hallmark of Hsinchu City. This year, it has gone a step further by designating every September as"Hsinchu City Kite Festival"The festival will begin at 1:30 p.m. on September 5, featuring performances by kite teams from various counties and cities, as well as a special kite painting competition. The top three winners will receive prize money ranging from NT$500 to NT$1,000 from the organizers, aiming to bring together kite enthusiasts from across the country in the Windy City to enjoy the fun of kite flying.
