Weekend-only offer: Free sunflowers given away at the Van Gogh Museum

This weekend, if you're in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, don’t miss the series of festive events on Museumplein celebrating the opening of the new entrance to the Van Gogh Museum.

According to Lonely Planet,this Saturday and Sunday (the 5th and 6th), there will be a maze made up of 125,000 sunflowers displayed on Museumplein, which the public can visit for free. In addition, there will be three rooms inspired by Van Gogh’s paintings where visitors can take photos. On Sunday afternoon, free sunflowers will also be handed out on-site.
