Ever seen a service that delivers noodles via an "Express Train"? A new noodle shop called "For the Bowl" has recently opened in September in Taipei’s Zhongshan-Linsen business district. The owner claims to have invested nearly NT$10 million to build a comprehensive noodle shop spanning nearly 100 ping, offering Taiwanese noodles, beef noodles, Japanese ramen, and Italian pasta. Customers place their orders via tablet, and the meals are delivered right to them by a "magnetic levitation Express Train."

Different from traditional dining experiences, "For the Bowl" is invested in and operated by Yayue Catering Company, designed with the concept of a noodle museum. The space is spacious, and the layout resembles a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. The highlight is that after ordering via tablet, the food arrives hot and fresh through a Shinkansen-like track, creating a remarkably fresh dining experience — almost like a revolution in cuisine.

True to its name "For the Bowl," the menu mainly features various types of noodles, including Taiwanese noodles, Japanese-style noodles, Italian pasta, and beef noodles, priced between NT$99 and NT$280. According to diners, the noodles are very chewy, and the portion sizes are generous, earning a mid-to-high rating overall.

The highlight of the shop is the “dual-track Shinkansen” system used to deliver meals — the lower level is the "Express Train" that brings main noodle dishes, while the upper level is a rotating conveyor belt inspired by conveyor-belt sushi, delivering side dishes like pickled foods and cured meats that you can take freely.
