Kids can enter E-DA World for just NT$10 this Mid-Autumn holiday!

The Mid-Autumn long weekend (9/26–28) is almost here. Have you planned how to spend your three-day, two-night vacation yet? To encourage more people to travel via public transportation, the Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has partnered with 13 theme parks across Taiwan and local public transport operators to offer discounted or special admission tickets for those using public transit to reach the parks. Among them, E-DA World is even offering kids' park entry tickets for just NT$10—that’s a deal worth considering for your holiday getaway.

Ocean World in Yehliu: From 9/26–30, guests whose names contain either the character “月” (moon) or “亮” (bright) can present their ID or relevant documentation to purchase four adult tickets at 20% off (original price NT$450, discounted to NT$360 per ticket, one use per person, other ticket types not included in the promotion); additionally, those presenting the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Crown North Coast Line flyer can enjoy various dining discounts.

Miniature Land Theme Park: In addition to offering half-price general admission tickets at NT$399, Taiwan United Bus offers discounted round-trip ticket packages from Taipei and New Taipei City—single ticket plus round-trip fare are NT$625 and NT$571 respectively.

Hsinchu Bus is also offering travel discounts during the Mid-Autumn long weekend. Present proof of bus travel to Miniature Land to purchase park tickets at a special price of NT$359. The arrival station on the proof must be Miniature Land, and each proof allows the purchase of only one discounted ticket.

Leofoo Village Theme Park: During the Mid-Autumn long weekend, visitors whose ID number contains two number 2s can enjoy an admission price of NT$222; in addition, Hsinchu Bus and Taiwan United Bus are also offering travel discounts.

During the holiday period, those presenting proof of direct bus travel to Leofoo Village via Hsinchu Bus can enjoy a discounted price of NT$599. One bus ticket stub allows the purchase of one discounted ticket, valid for use only on the day of travel. Taiwan United Bus is offering an 880 NT$ holiday package that includes a round-trip ticket from Taipei to Leofoo Village and one park admission ticket.

Doraemon Science Theme Park: Anyone with the character “月” (moon) in their name can enter for free upon presenting ID (limited to the individual named). Additionally, visitors who join Doraemon in supporting the “Low-Carbon, Eco-Friendly Mid-Autumn” activity at the park and complete the challenge can enjoy discounted admission: adults NT$350, students NT$320, children NT$320.

West Lake Resort: Aside from military, government, and education personnel who can purchase discounted tickets for NT$300 on-site with specified ID, those traveling to the resort via Fengyuan Bus can use each ticket stub to purchase one discounted ticket for NT$300. Depending on the season (peak/off-peak), number of guests, and the day’s fare, the bus fare can be used to offset accommodation costs. Also, purchasing a ticket to Taipei at the West Lake Resort counter allows you to buy discounted tickets priced between NT$220 and NT$270.

Lihpao Land: During the Mid-Autumn long weekend, full-day passes to Marlboro Bay are available for NT$499, and Discoveryland Moonlight Tickets are NT$199. From 9/23 to 10/22, those born under the Libra zodiac sign can present their ID to enjoy half-price admission at NT$325.

In addition, Ubus is offering individual package deals: the Taipei Main Station – Lihpao Land package is NT$999, and the Zhonggang Transfer Station – Lihpao Land ride on Ubus Route 155 is NT$599.

Dongshi Forest Farm: During the Mid-Autumn long weekend, after entering the farm, find a spot to take a moon-themed selfie and upload it to the Dongshi Forest Farm fan page to receive a prize. Additionally, through Dongshi Forest Farm, you can get a group discount of 10 admission tickets at NT$160 each.

Visitors arriving via Hsinchu Bus Route 209 can purchase discounted tickets for NT$160.

Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village: During the holiday period, purchase of admission tickets comes with a free same-day ride on the Sun Moon Lake Gondola. Those with a ticket stub from Renyou Bus can purchase group admission tickets to enter the park.

Tayal Resort: Any visitor whose name contains both the characters “中” (middle) and “秋” (autumn) can enjoy free admission upon presenting valid proof. Those who book a room by calling before 9/20 can enjoy a 10% discount on accommodation for 9/26 and 9/27. Join the official LINE of Tayal Resort to receive a “Delicious Mid-Autumn Coupon”—present it during park entry on 9/26–9/27 to get park admission for NT$250, unlimited rides, and a free hot spring soak.

In honor of Teachers' Day on 9/28, a special free admission offer for teachers is available. On 9/28, teachers can present valid teaching credentials upon entry for free admission.

Songlinxi Forest Ecological Resort：Before the end of the year, take the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and enjoy a 50% discount on regular weekday rates and 20% off on weekend rates for accommodations with the package coupon; regardless of weekday or weekend, take public transport (Yunlin Bus, Taichung Bus, or Shanlinxi Bus) to Shanlinxi and get a NT$200 discount on each entrance ticket.

E-Da Theme Park：During the holiday period, entry after 5 PM costs only NT$100; show the HowYouShare page to enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free deal (one person must purchase a NT$799 ticket); present the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle coupon to get an entrance ticket for NT$399.

Wildlife Park：Visit Wildlife Park during the holiday period and enjoy a special rate of NT$700 for two people.

Chien-shan Pi Jiangnan Resort：From September 26 to 28 during the Mid-Autumn holiday, order the “Mid-Autumn BBQ Package” (for 10 people) to enjoy free park entry; also, check in within Jiangnan Resort during the Mid-Autumn holiday to receive a mysterious small gift, one per person.

Before the end of June 2016, use the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle “Guanziling-Wushantou Line” package to visit Jiangnan Resort and enjoy NT$100 park entry, no service charge on dining, 60% off on weekday accommodations, and 20% off on weekend accommodations.

Eight Great Forests Amusement Park：During the Mid-Autumn holiday, those born in the Year of the Rabbit can enjoy a discounted entry price of NT$100 by showing their ID card; from September 1 to October 4, wear white tops to enter the park and get a special rate of NT$199; before September 30, the park will host a series of Water Festival celebrations.

E-Da World：During the holiday period, children aged 3–12 can enjoy a special rate of NT$10 to enter the theme park, with each child requiring the purchase of one NT$899 ticket; show your E-Da Bus ticket purchase proof when buying theme park tickets to get a NT$50 merchandise or dining voucher.

Dalu Guan Theme Park：From September 1 to 30, groups of four can join the “Ball & Get Gifts” event, with chances to win prizes such as a Dalu Guan Resort hotel double room voucher, a double Italian afternoon tea at the scenic restaurant, or Dalu Guan Theme Park entrance tickets.

Little Kenting Resort：From September 1 to 30, groups of two can enjoy a special accommodation rate of NT$3,199; from October 1 to 31, in addition to the NT$3,199 rate for two, you can also get a free one-hour eagle-watching shuttle service.

Hualien Far Eastern Ocean Park：From September 1 to 30, active military personnel (including military academy students, contracted personnel, and veterans) can show their military or veteran ID to enjoy a discounted rate of NT$590 (plus up to three accompanying guests also at NT$590 each); from September 15 to October 15, teachers can show valid domestic public or private school teaching or retired teacher certificates to enjoy a discounted rate of NT$390 (plus one accompanying guest also at NT$390).

Additionally, take the Hualien Bus to Far Eastern Ocean Park, and show your bus ticket receipt at ticket booths 4 or 5 in the park to exchange for one NT$50 cash voucher.

Garden Villa Resort：Stay on September 26–27 to enjoy special accommodation rates, and the resort also offers a one-way shuttle service from Hualien Railway Station for NT$50 and free shuttle from Shoufeng Railway Station, both by prior reservation.
