Only available in Tainan: The latest super-popular 3D "dinosaur" shaped egg waffles

Tainan has unveiled Taiwan’s only ultra-3D "dinosaur"-shaped egg waffles, launched on October 18. On their first day at the stall, they caught a lot of attention. With their crispy texture, these dinosaur egg waffles stand upright, with six dinosaurs lined up in a row, giving the feel of stepping into Jurassic Park. Their adorable appearance is expected to make them the next big hit among egg waffles.

Over the past two years, Tainan’s egg waffle craze has been non-stop—Toolman Egg Waffles, Heart-Shaped Egg Waffles, Bulldog Egg Waffles, LEGO Egg Waffles, and more have all shown great creativity in design, catering to modern people’s love for taking photos and maximizing the visual appeal of egg waffles. But how could the food capital of Taiwan have limits? These upright 3D dinosaur-shaped egg waffles, just four days after going on sale, quickly won over the hearts of kids and young people.

The dinosaur-shaped egg waffles feature three widely known dinosaurs: the triceratops, stegosaurus, and tyrannosaurus rex. Molds were specially made for them, making them a unique design found only in Taiwan. You can’t get such pretty dinosaur egg waffles anywhere else. The dinosaur shapes are like X-rays of the creatures, playfully presenting their bones in a humorous way. One serving of dinosaur egg waffles costs NT$50 and includes six dinosaurs. Currently, only the original flavor is available, with no filling inside, and they are quite crispy when freshly baked.

In addition to the newly launched dinosaur egg waffles, the store’s original chocolate and marshmallow flavored egg waffles are also quite popular. They come with either chocolate or marshmallow fillings, offering a burst of flavor in every bite. Compared to regular egg waffles, they have a richer taste.
