Universal Studios Japan’s Winter Exclusive: A Dazzling and Magical “Christmas Show”

Universal Studios Japan is hosting a 55-day winter event“Universal Magical Christmas”from November 13, 2015, to January 6, 2016. The snowy “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” offers limited-time winter menus, and a brand-new story performance of the world-renowned Christmas show, “Angel’s Miracle III ~The Voice of an Angel~,” is now at Universal Studios Japan this winter.

Among all seasons, winter is the best time to visit the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” where you can fully immerse yourself in the numerous wintery scenes featured in the original works. You can enjoy limited-time magical world menus, and the fantastical drink “Butterbeer” is also available in a winter-exclusive hot version. Based on the original “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” the luxurious meal that Harry tasted for the first time in his life has been recreated as a new menu item, allowing visitors to share in the warmth Harry felt during the cold winter.

This year’s Christmas event specially presents a brand-new storyline of the globally top-honored Christmas show, “Angel’s Miracle III ~The Voice of an Angel~.” Utilizing innovative “aerial performances” and original music composed by top musicians, it delivers the most spectacular scale ever.

The original song “Angel’s Miracle (Angel)” for “Angel’s Miracle III ~The Voice of an Angel~” was composed by world-renowned Japanese composer Toshiyuki Muramatsu and performed by the British boy choir “Libera (Angels of Vienna Choir),” hailed as the “world’s fleeting angelic voices.” Their heavenly vocals and beautiful melodies touch the heart.

Japan’s only Christmas tree that has been voted one of the “Top 10 Christmas Trees People Want to See Before They Die,” the “World’s No. 1 Light Christmas Tree,” will also appear in “Angel’s Miracle III” with an unprecedentedly elegant presence.As glowing orbs symbolizing “love” rise toward the tip of the Christmas tree, the moment the new “aerial light show” is illuminated, your heart will warm up too.

The Christmas parade “Santa’s Toy March” will feature the wildly popular cartoon character “Minions,” who will appear at the front, marching alongside mini Santas dressed up by children, allowing families to celebrate a unique Christmas together with the Minions.
