Recently, people from Taiwan have been increasingly interested in in-depth travel to Japan. The Hokuriku and Takayama regions, with their rich natural landscapes and historical traditions, attract visitors from overseas.Taiwan Tigerair announced on the 24th that starting January 18, 2018, it will launch flights to its 10th Japanese destination, Komatsu Airport, a major gateway to the Hokuriku region. Initially, there will be two flights per week. To celebrate the launch, Taiwan Tigerair is offering limited-time promotional fares, with one-way tickets starting at just 1,999 Taiwan dollars (excluding tax).

Komatsu is the third-largest city in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, near the Sea of Japan, boasting abundant seafood catches. Tourist attractions such as Kanazawa City and Kaga Onsen are also located nearby, giving it a rich historical and traditional cultural atmosphere.Every year, besides attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists, Komatsu Airport has also become an important gateway for foreign travelers heading to the Hokuriku region.

Tigerair Taiwan announced that starting January 18 of next year, it will launch flights on the Taoyuan-Komatsu route. Initially, there will be two flights per week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The outbound flight IT252 departs Taoyuan Airport at 07:00 every Thursday and at 10:55 every Sunday. The return flight IT253 departs Komatsu Airport at 11:45 every Thursday and at 15:35 every Sunday.

After launching the Start flight on the Taoyuan-Komatsu route on January 18 next year, Tigerair Taiwan’s round-trip routes between Taiwan and Japan will reach 14, and travelers can depart from either Taoyuan Airport or Kaohsiung Airport.Travelers can combine the two airports in Komatsu and Nagoya for entry and exit, planning an in-depth trip from the central region to the Takayama area and the Hokuriku region.

To celebrate its launch, Tigerair Taiwan is offering promotional fares starting from NT$1,999 (excluding tax) for one-way tickets from 10:00 AM on November 30, 2017, to 11:59 PM on December 1, 2017. The travel period is from January 18, 2018, to March 24, 2018.

In addition, for travelers departing from Japan, those planning to take the inaugural flight IT253 from Komatsu Airport to Taiwan on January 18, 2018, will have the chance to purchase special promotional flight tickets starting from NT$999 (or JPY 3,877) one-way, excluding tax.
