The Guizhou Xingwei Stone Museum is located in the Anshun Economic Development Zone, covering an area of over 30,000 square meters. It is one of the largest stone museums in China dedicated to ornamental stones. The museum houses tens of thousands of precious ornamental stones and biological fossils from all over the country, featuring a wide variety of shapes and sizes. These include the uniquely shaped garden display stones, elegant and luxurious yellow wax stones, the crystal-clear green malachite, as well as Guizhou’s Red River stones, Panjiang stones, Puding Machang stones, and exquisite stones from other regions such as Laibin stones from Guangxi, Lingbi stones from Anhui, Taihu stones and Kunshan stones from Jiangsu and Zhejiang. These treasures have deeply attracted visitors from across the nation.
The Stone Museum gathers tens of thousands of rare stones, ancient biological fossils, and mineral crystals from around the country. Xingwei Stone Museum also houses a large collection of high-quality root carvings and wood carvings, most of which are masterfully crafted from materials such as yew, Hainan yellow rosewood, camphor wood, rosewood, agarwood, golden-thread nanmu, and nanmu. This has added yet another layer of cultural richness to the Xingwei Stone Museum. The museum continuously selects tens of thousands of unique and famous stones from across the country, establishing itself as a national hub for the appreciation, scientific study, academic research, commerce, and information exchange of rare stones. In February 2012, the museum was successfully designated as a National AAAA-level tourist attraction.
