  Lao Lin Gou Scenic Area is situated at the junction of Xishan Village and Baijia Mountain Village in Xiamen Hui Township, Kongtong District. To the east, it lies along the Pinghua Road corridor; to the west, it connects to Mawu Township; to the south, it borders Guanliang and Mafulingguan; and to the north, it adjoins Shizhang Community of Xishan Village. The area earned its name due to its dense forests, numerous valleys, and long history. It is a natural scenic zone that combines unique natural landscapes with cultural attractions, filled with fragrant blossoms and spring-like scenery all year round. The terrain here runs long from east to west and narrow from north to south, with higher elevations in the southwest and lower in the northeast, boasting abundant grasslands and forest resources. The area is home to over 10 species of wildlife including musk deer and leopards; more than 20 types of flowers such as camellias and pomegranate blossoms; and over 10 unique natural landscapes including Phoenix Mouth, Ox Nose Mountain, and Er’dan Mountain. In particular, the Yuan Dynasty stone statue ruins are the most renowned cultural and historical attraction within Lao Lin Gou. There are also more than 10 natural waterfalls. It is an ideal destination for leisure outings and weekend trips.
