Jinka Karst Cave

Introduction        Located in Jinka Township, Gyantse County. Its exterior resembles a pile of sharp weapons, and the overall shape is like that of a Tara. The cave entrance is about 8 meters wide and nearly 2 meters high, with a depth of over 40 meters. From top to bottom, there are six naturally formed meditation caves including those of Guru Rinpoche and Namdrö Lotsawa Dondrup Dorje, as well as more than 80 naturally formed, highly realistic images such as Milarepa, the Sixteen Arhats, elephants, scorpions, celestial dragons, earthly serpents, the moon, and the sun.
