     Yangon's Chinatown is home to around 150,000 local Chinese and overseas Chinese. The century-old Guanyin Ancient Temple (known locally as the Cantonese Temple) is a popular gathering spot for tourists, bustling with traffic from morning till night and extremely lively.

     When the lights come on, the sidewalk in front of the temple becomes a night market selling fruits such as watermelon, small oranges, and large durians, as well as clothes.
