Jiujing River

　　The Jiujing River originates from the rear palace of Tianzhu Mountain, meandering for over ten kilometers as it gathers water from countless streams and springs. Along its course are secluded pools and cascading waterfalls, with fresh breezes — “Jiujing West Wind” is one of the Ten Scenic Spots of Qianyang.

　　The Jiujing West Wind can be considered a unique wonder of Tianzhu Mountain. What makes it unique is that, no matter the season — whether cloudy, sunny, rainy, or snowy — a northwest wind always blows through the areas of Gukou and Yezhai. Especially in summer, no matter how hot the day, once the west wind arrives at night, the heat instantly dissipates. As a result, the valley entrance and Yezhai are not only great spots to enjoy the breeze and scenery but also popular summer retreats.
