The temple features five successive courtyards along its main axis and east and west side courtyards, housing nearly one hundred structures including halls, chambers, pavilions, studies, side rooms, kiosks, and archways. From south to north, the central axis includes the Taihe Yuanqi Archway, Lingxing Gate, Pan Pond, Ji Gate, Dacheng Hall, Minglun Hall, and Zunjing Pavilion, forming the core layout of the Confucius Temple. Along both sides of the central axis are structures such as the Jinde Study, Xiuye Study, East Side Room, West Side Room, Memorial Shrine of Eminent Officials, Memorial Shrine of Local Sages, Loyalty and Righteousness Shrine, Donghua Gate, and Xihua Gate. The east side courtyard houses the Wenchang Shrine, which served as the site for Confucian studies; the west side courtyard originally held the Qisheng Shrine, which was later converted into a residence for instructors.
