Taizhou Yijiang River
Taizhou Yijiang River is a key water conservancy project in Jiangsu Province. Stretching 24 kilometers from the Yangtze River in the south to the Xintongyang Canal in the north, it combines functions such as irrigation, water regulation, navigation, and tourism. It serves as the source project of the Eastern Route of China's South-to-North Water Diversion Project. The Yijiang River Hub Project is located in Yangwan, Gaogang District, Taizhou, and features a massive and majestic structure. Over 100,000 trees including cherry blossoms, scholar trees, red maples, and wintersweet, along with more than 450,000 shrubs, over 500,000 perennial flowers, and 5 million square meters of lawn, create four seasonal landscapes: "Spring at Yijiang," "Shady Summer," "Autumn Red Leaves," and "Plum Fragrance and Bamboo Sea," which are embedded along both the eastern and western banks. The scenic area boasts an elegant ecological environment that is a feast for the eyes.
