Jiangxian County Confucius Temple (Fourth Batch of Provincial-Level Protected Sites)
Era: Ming Dynasty
Address: No. 1 Wenmiao Road, Zhenxing West Avenue, Jiangxian County
Originally built in the third year of the Changxing era of the Later Tang Dynasty (932 AD), it was renovated and expanded during the seventh year of the Yuandade era (1303 AD), as well as during the Zhengde, Jiajing, and Wanli eras of the Ming Dynasty. It was destroyed in the sixth year of the Qing Shunzhi era (1649 AD), and now only the Dacheng Hall and the Minglun Hall remain.
The Dacheng Hall is three bays wide, four rafters deep, with a single-eave hip-and-gable roof. The bracket sets feature interlocking brackets on the top and bottom eaves. Jiangxian County Confucius Temple is a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit.
