The park features walking trails, jogging paths, a children’s playground, pavilions, and more. At its center lies a small island. The Lam Tsuen River meanders from west to north, bending near Shui Wai where the current slows after a rapid stretch. Beyond the Tai Po Tau Water Treatment Works lies Meishukeng, and the river then flows from north to east into Tolo Harbour. The section of the Lam Tsuen River that runs through the park has been landscaped with grass and concrete along both banks, earning an award from the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects. The park is planted with a variety of flowers and trees, including Bauhinia blakeana, Bauhinia variegata, Delonix regia, and banyan trees. Thanks to its beautiful surroundings, Meishukeng Park is a popular spot for outdoor portrait photography.
