Mingde Reservoir

Mingde Reservoir, situated in Mingde Village, Touwu Township, covers an area of over 170 hectares. It is responsible for irrigating tens of thousands of hectares of fields in the Houlongxi River basin. A viewing bridge is built next to the dam, and there is a spacious park. Roads encircle both the northern and southern shores, and two suspension bridges span the lake, connecting to Rixin Island in the center of the reservoir. The views are expansive. Camping is available at the campsite. The reservoir has a water surface area of 200 hectares with crystal-clear waters, stretching eight kilometers in length. It features three islands: Rixin, Yuanyang, and Haitang, complementing the beautiful scenery. The surrounding mountains are layered like a painting, and their reflections on the lake are poetic. Morning mist drifts ethereally, evening glow shines brilliantly like brocade, moonlight sparkles on the water, and after the rain, the air is fresh and clean. The scenery is ever-changing and captivating.
