Xihu Holiday Village

　　Xihu Holiday Village is situated in Sanyi Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan. It was first established in 1989 as a recreation area that highlights European-style garden scenery and family-oriented amusement facilities, covering a total area of up to 100,000 square meters. Next to the park is a natural lake called "Dexing Pond," which is comparable in beauty to Hangzhou’s West Lake in China. Locals in Sanyi therefore call it “Xihu” (West Lake), and the resort has since become known as Xihu Holiday Village.

　　Xihu Holiday Village is a resort that has been awarded the “Outstanding Amusement Area” rating for 14 consecutive years. It features both an amusement zone and a nostalgic-themed zone. The amusement zone includes imported mechanical rides such as a pirate ship, space battleship, interstellar shuttle, love train, carousel, and century showdown—perfect for fun-filled family outings. The nostalgic-themed zone consists of two themed pavilions: “Little Ying’s Story Theme Pavilion” and “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Theme Pavilion.” These include attractions such as a photo booth with Little Ying’s moving donkey cart, a hunting cabin in the forest pond where Little Ying lives, a magical space photo studio, DIY areas, as well as 3D character figures like Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Lion—extremely adorable and highly popular among children.
