Guxian Bridge
The Guxian Bridge in front of Zhang Gongyi’s Tomb, also known as the “Visiting the Sage Bridge,” is located 100 meters south of Guxian Bridge Village in Sun Kou Township. In April 2006, the Puyang Cultural Relics Protection Management Office and the Taiqian County Culture and Tourism Bureau collaborated to conduct an archaeological survey in accordance with Henan Province’s cultural relics drilling regulations. Preliminary findings indicate that this bridge is a stone arch bridge, oriented southeast to northwest, buried underground at a depth of about 6 meters, with a length of 52 meters and a width of 6 meters. Built in the early Tang Dynasty, just a few decades later than the famous Zhaozhou Bridge, it can be called the “Second Bridge of China” and holds significant scientific and cultural heritage value.
