Zhanggong Courtyard is located at an altitude of 2,194 meters and is said to have been the retreat of Zhang Liang, the Marquis of Liu from the Western Han Dynasty. Zhang Liang lived here in a simple cottage, reading and writing during the day, and playing the zither and singing by night.
