  The Pas is a town in the Canadian province of Manitoba, located northwest of Winnipeg and near the border of Saskatchewan. It is the oldest and most prominent settlement in northern Manitoba and serves as a management hub for mining, fishing, and forestry industries. It is known as the “Gateway to the North.”

  The Pas is a city that showcases different charms in each season. Its unique recreational activities and diverse cultural attractions make it particularly appealing. Festivals include the Agricultural Exhibition and Indian Days. The Sam Waller Museum is dedicated to telling the history of northern Manitoba and preserving its heritage, with collections covering First Nations, the fur trade, mining, transportation, and more. Other sites worth visiting include the National Exhibition Centre, the Precambrian Cultural Centre, St. Lazare Church, the Eskimo Museum, and the Northern Heritage Museum.

  The city hosts the Northern Manitoba Trappers' Festival, which began in 1916 and is the oldest festival in Manitoba.
