North Coast and Guanyinshan Scenic Area
The North Coast and Guanyinshan Scenic Area was created on October 17, 2002, to consolidate the tourism resources of the "North Coast Scenic Area," "Yehliu Scenic Area," and Guanyinshan in northern Taiwan. With its unique coastal and mountainous ecological landscapes as well as diverse cultural attractions, the area has quickly become a renowned tourist destination that combines culture, nature, ecology, and education.

The scenic area boasts a wealth of sightseeing resources. Famous attractions such as Baishawan, Linshanbi, Fuguijiao Park, Shimen Cave, Jinshan, and Feicuiwan are distributed in a belt-like formation, with the North Coast Coastal Park running through them. The area is equipped with numerous rest facilities along the way, offering great convenience for visitors. Yehliu Geopark is home to world-famous landmarks such as the Queen's Head and Fairy's Shoe, whose remarkably lifelike formations showcase the miraculous beauty of nature’s craftsmanship. Additionally, the majestic and rugged beauty of Guanyinshan is also a major draw. From the mountaintop, visitors can gaze at the meandering Tamsui River flowing endlessly into the sea, as well as enjoy panoramic views of the bustling scenery of the Taipei Basin, which opens up the mind and refreshes the spirit.
