The Pang Clan Ancestral Hall is situated in Pei Bin Village, Fanling. It was originally constructed in the early Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1573). During the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty, the imperial scholar Pang Bujin noticed that the ancestral hall had fallen into disrepair over time. Together with his fellow clan members in the village, he raised funds and, in the 26th year of the Daoguang era (1846), consulted a feng shui master to choose an auspicious date before relocating the ancestral hall to its current site in Pei Bin Village. The hall was later rebuilt in the 10th year of the Guangxu era (1884) and underwent renovation again in 1979.

The Pang clan in Fanling established their village during the Song Dynasty and have a history of over 700 years. The settlement later expanded into Fanling Wai, best known for its feng shui fishponds and antique cannons within the walled village. Nearby, there are also the Sidak School and the Pang Clan Ancestral Hall. The architecture still retains the style of the Qing Dynasty and houses an extremely rich collection of cultural relics.

On the second day of the second lunar month each year, members of the Pang clan hold a grand spring worship ceremony in the ancestral hall to pay homage to their ancestors across generations. Starting from 1979, part of the ancestral hall was converted into the “Fanling Kindergarten” to provide preschool education for young children in the village. In recent years, the kindergarten has been closed.
