Huzhu County Wufeng Mountain
Huzhu County Wufeng Mountain Wufeng Mountain is located in Wufeng Township, Huzhu County, Qinghai Province, about 40 kilometers from Xining City, at an altitude of 2,800 meters, and is named for its five peaks standing tall like an upraised palm. The mountain is covered with tall trees such as pines and poplars, along with numerous shrubs. In spring and summer, the mountainside is lush and green, while in late autumn, it bursts into vibrant colors, offering a delightful sight. There are three caves halfway up the mountain, connected by a small path. Below the caves lies the Chenghua Spring. The spring water cascades down the rocky cliffs from the mountainside, forming a waterfall that is one of the mountain’s major attractions. On the mountain sits Wufeng Temple, one of the well-known temples in the region. Every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, the “Flower Festival” is held, drawing crowds and filling the hillsides with singing and vibrant traditional cultural entertainment rich in ethnic flavor.
