It consists of the ruins of Lianyun City and the scenic landscape along the Zaolin Post Road.
By walking about 300 meters up the West Post Road from the old Panjiang Bridge, you will reach the ruins of Lianyun City from the Ming Dynasty. Built in the third year of the Chongzhen era (1630) during the Ming Dynasty, the city was referred to as the "New City" by Xu Xiake, who traveled through here. Today, only remnants of the city walls and the stone water channels used at that time remain.
Another 300 meters further up is "Old Town" Banpotang, where a grove of date trees fills the village. The ancient, twisted branches are spread out in a pleasant, sparse arrangement, and the outlines of the ancient post station can still be faintly seen beneath the trees.
