Ancient City Fort

　　    The Ancient City Forts are located in Ligao Village Committee, Ligao Town, and were built on three sites: Cuiping Mountain, Dushan Mountain, and Guanyin Mountain, among which the Dushan Ancient City Fort is the most famous. Built atop Dushan Mountain, the Dushan Ancient City Fort almost covers the entire summit. Viewed from afar, it resembles the Potala Palace in Tibet, appearing grand and magnificent. Constructed in the 11th year of the Republic of China (1922), it was primarily used by villagers for protection against soldiers and bandits. When the Japanese army entered Ligao, they once stationed at the Dushan Ancient City Fort. In the 1980s, the film "The Lonely Assassin" used the Dushan Ancient City Fort as an outdoor shooting location, further adding to the charm of Ligao’s ancient city forts.
