Ancient City Site of Liushan
The ancient city site of Liushan is situated 47 kilometers northwest of the county seat, within the residential area of the county’s nitrogen fertilizer plant and close to the Longjiang River. The site is rectangular, measuring 150 meters from north to south and 100 meters from east to west. Today, several sections of rammed earth walls still remain. In 1970, during construction work at the county nitrogen fertilizer plant, a large number of ceramic fragments and a small quantity of ancient coins were discovered. This site is the ruins of an ancient city dating from the Song to the Ming dynasties.
