The cave is 66 meters high, 40 meters wide, and 900 meters deep. Inside, there is a stream over 660 meters long with water depths ranging from 3 to 10 meters, allowing for boat rides through the cave. Legend has it that the Songstress Immortal Liu Sanjie once took refuge in the cave for many years to escape persecution by a landlord. She sang in the cave every day and later ascended to immortality here. Her incarnation became the scenic spot known as “Third Sister Singing.”
Upon entering the cave, you can see flocks of swiftlets darting about. The swiftlets have bright yellow plumage, crimson beaks and claws, and long wings. They are a rare and protected animal species in China, and local authorities have recently taken measures to protect them.
