The Dry Lichen Bi Lake in Nujiang, Yunnan, is one of the undeveloped serene alpine lakes formed by soft erosional action in the Mingjing Snow Mountain range. It lies to the east of Fugong County’s Shangpa Town, on the northern side of the clear lake and within the mountainous area west of the Biluo Snow Mountain Range. Approximately 40 kilometers from Fugong County, the lake sits at an altitude of 3,490 meters, covers an area of 52,500 square meters, and has an average depth of 6 meters. In the height of summer, simply shouting near the lake can summon an echo — a mysterious high-altitude climate phenomenon that is both strange and fascinating. Coupled with the lake's picturesque scenery, which rivals a fairyland, visitors can forget all their worries and fatigue, as if melting into a mystical, celestial world. For this reason, it is hailed as the “Enchanting Lake.”
