Covering an area of 120 mu, the willows here take on all kinds of peculiar shapes—some stand proudly like valiant warriors; some sway gracefully like dancing fairies; some lie prostrate on the ground like lions ready to pounce; some resemble dragons plunging into the sea, churning waves; some look like crocodiles guarding the woods; and others appear as armored warriors poised for battle. The oldest tree is a giant willow that requires four people to encircle, nearly a thousand years old. Though its trunk is dry, its canopy remains lush and green. Scientific assessments indicate that this willow forest dates back at least 800 years. Crystal-clear spring water seeps from the roots of the willows, flowing gently into the distance. The water is sweet to the taste, refreshing and memorable. In the hot summer months, the area is cool and pleasant, making it an ideal retreat for escaping the heat.
