Xiguo Water Park

　　Xiguo Water Park is situated on the south side of the Gao’er Expressway near East Guozhen Gate on Guopan Road, ChenCang District, Baoji City, adjacent to the north bank of the Wei River, covering an area of 163,000 m². The project has an estimated static total investment of approximately 280 million RMB and is a key component of the ChenCang District Water Sports Park within Baoji’s “Hundred-Mile Gallery.” It is also one of the ecological, cultural, and leisure tourism landscapes along the Wei River developed by the Baoji Municipal Government, which include the “Hundred-Mile Gallery,” “Ten-Mile Flower Sea,” “Thousand-Mu Lotus Pond,” and “Myriad-Mu Reed Marsh.” Scheduled to open in June 2016, the park will feature a total of 20 attractions including a vacuum wave pool with sandy beach, combined spiral slides, octopus slide, funnel slide, big surfboard slide, beast bowl slide, lazy river, children’s water play area, large water fortress, and a youth swimming training center. Both in scale and facilities, it ranks first in Northwest China.

　　Once completed, Xiguo Water Park will improve the local environment, create 1,000 new jobs, and boost related industries such as catering, entertainment, and culture. It will provide the people of Baoji with a comfortable summer leisure destination, leaving lasting memories for many. The project will be developed in two phases.

　　Phase I involves the construction of 80,000 m², beginning infrastructure work in November 2015 and officially opening in June 2016. The completion of this phase will offer consumers world-class aquatic amusement products and services with enhanced human-centric design, allowing more families and children to enjoy their own splashing fun.

　　Phase II will expand the park by another 80,000 m², starting construction in October 2016 and reopening in June 2017, upgrading it to become the largest, most advanced, and most diverse water park in Shaanxi Province. A 6,600 m² go-kart racing track will also be constructed during this phase, combining water attractions with motorsports to enhance the park’s variety and entertainment value. In addition to top-tier international hardware, the park is designed to better meet the needs of the local population. Xiguo Water Park will operate from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, allowing visitors to enjoy sunbathing during the day and relaxing moonlit moments with family and friends after work. The park will also host cultural performances from around the world and offer a variety of ethnic snacks and dishes from Shaanxi. To ensure greater comfort and convenience, the park will continually upgrade its hardware and service facilities. The central plaza, visitor service area, and large parking lot will span 6,000 m². A two-story visitor service building will be built to accommodate peak-time crowds, featuring 5,000 lockers, multiple 5A-standard showers in the changing and shower area, coin-operated hair dryers throughout the changing rooms, and free clothing dryers. A separate side gate service area will be available for group visitors to ease congestion during busy periods. All hardware facilities in the visitor service zone are newly installed to fully meet the parking, storage, changing, and other needs of all guests, especially during peak times.
