Ancient City and Tomb Site of Eyu (Second Batch Provincial-level Protected Site)
Era: Eastern Zhou Dynasty
Location: Southwest of Wusu Village, Ce Village Township, Qinxian County
It was once a highly significant ancient settlement site and a strategic military location. The ancient city of Eyu belonged to the State of Han during the Warring States period and later to the State of Zhao.
In 1973, multiple Warring States period tombs were discovered north of the village. In 1979, a large number of Eastern Zhou pottery shards and remnants of ancient city walls were found within the ancient city ruins east of the village. After verification, these were identified as belonging to the ancient city of Eyu. The original topography and landforms remain undisturbed by constructive development.
