Changbai Mountain Hot Spring Cluster

Owing to its volcanic fractures and complex geological layers, Changbai Mountain is one of the areas in China with a relatively dense distribution of hot springs. There are dozens of hot springs in the Changbai Mountain area, varying in size. Their water volume and temperature differ due to variations in elevation. The flow rate, temperature, and water quality of the hot springs in this cluster remain stable throughout the year, making it one of the best in China. With its high water temperature, excellent water quality, large flow, and dense distribution, it surpasses the Huaqing Pool, known for its “smooth, warm waters that bathe silky skin,” and the Kunming Anning Hot Springs, hailed as the “Number One Hot Spring under Heaven.” It can even rival the Tengchong Hot Springs, known as the “Geothermal Museum.” Changbai Mountain hot springs are referred to as “divine water” and hold significant medicinal and health benefits. Tests have shown that the spring water contains dozens of beneficial elements and minerals. The hot spring bathing experience here is celebrated as the “Number One Bath under Heaven.”
