Western Orchid Ecological Park
Western Orchid Ecological Park is situated 5 kilometers north of Taibai Mountain National Forest Park in Shaanxi Province, with a total area of 273 hectares. It is among the first national agricultural tourism demonstration sites. "Western Orchid" is an ecological park built on the foundation of the Shaanxi Provincial Seedling Breeding Center. It now features seven themed areas with 79 sightseeing spots, including a water recreation and fishing park, a high-tech wonders garden, a rare tree species viewing garden, a fruit-picking garden, a floral and bonsai garden, a sparse woodland leisure and entertainment park, and a science education base.

The park houses a first-class, fully automated computer-controlled greenhouse spanning 10,000 square meters and a plant tissue culture building covering 2,300 square meters, capable of "cloning" 60 million plants annually. The water recreation and fishing park covers 350,000 square meters. The park has introduced and cultivated over 420 varieties of premium trees from around the world, totaling 20 million plants, as well as more than 160 varieties of rare and precious flowers such as Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium, and Anthurium, amounting to over 1 million pots. With more than 420 varieties of premium flowers and seedlings, the park remains lush year-round and in bloom for three seasons. The combination of grasslands, ponds, pavilions, and terraces creates a refreshing, elegant, and naturally simple landscape, earning it the reputation of the "Green Pearl of Western China."

Since its establishment, Western Orchid Ecological Park has welcomed 330 experts from seven countries, including the Netherlands, the United States, Australia, and Germany, for visits and exchanges. Central and provincial-level leaders, including the Premier of the State Council and Vice Premiers, have inspected the park. The park’s grand scale, precious plant collections, and beautifully fresh natural environment offer visitors an extraordinary and uplifting experience.
