Over a decade ago, a group of oil painters in Lishui, inspired by the French Barbizon School, realized that beauty exists all around us. Thus, drawing on the spirit of the French Barbizon painters, they committed themselves to showcasing the beauty of their hometown—painting their home and turning to nature.
