Aktas Summer Resort is situated 30 kilometers from Qiaoma to Nileke County, along Provincial Highway 315 that traverses the Tianshan Mountains from north to south. It lies east of the Duku Road, which connects northern and southern Xinjiang; to the west is the renowned summer retreat of Tangbula Grassland; to the north stands the mountain range known as "Little Huashan"; and nearby flows the Kashi River, which sings day and night. Just 30 kilometers east is the Qiaoma Martyrs' Monument, built in honor of the heroes who sacrificed their lives constructing the Tianshan Highway. The grassland is covered in lush greenery and blooming wildflowers, with snow-capped spruce trees and mountain clouds creating a picturesque, poetic landscape reminiscent of the charm of the Swiss countryside.
