Dongshan Park

　　Introduction       Dongshan Mountain, also known as Qixia Mountain, is located outside the eastern gate of Guiyang. It stands as an isolated peak with steep cliffs and has an elevation of about 1,200 meters. A winding path ascends from the northern slope, leading to a flat summit. The original Dongshan Temple has been destroyed, but many cliff inscriptions and stone tablets remain preserved. The area features “majestic mountains with breathtaking scenery and serene views.” As described in poetry, “The mountain path winds like a ladder, clouds shroud the dawning light.” From the heights, one can gaze over the towering peaks kissed by rosy clouds and rolling ridges veiled in mist. Looking down at the city, the homes and flickering lights of thousands of households are vividly visible.    Transportation       You can take bus routes 6, 32, or 64 within the city to Dongshan Park Station.
