Zambezi River
The Zambezi River, together with the Nile, Congo, and Niger Rivers, is one of Africa's four major rivers. Stretching 3,540 kilometers from its source to its mouth, the river and its tributaries flow through Zambia, Angola, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, and Malawi, covering a drainage basin of 1.33 million square kilometers. Features The Zambezi River is the cradle of culture in Central and Southern Africa. With numerous tributaries and a dense river network, it is renowned for its spectacular waterfalls, gorges, and rapids.
