Shawen Xinzhai Tianqiao Scenic Area

　　The Shawen Xinzhai Village Tianqiao Scenic Area is situated in the northwest outskirts of Shawen Town, four kilometers from the town center and three kilometers from the Guiyang-Zunyi Expressway, spanning an area of three square kilometers. Major attractions include: (1) Monkey Cave. One of the scenic highlights in the Tianqiao area, this cave is located at the top of a canyon, surrounded by primeval forest groves and patches of honeysuckle. The cave entrance has two levels of exits. Following the stream inside the cave, the first hall is spacious enough to accommodate three to five large trucks and features rocks of various shapes. The second hall contains stone tables, beds, and benches. About 200 meters deeper into the hall lies the “Cave Waterfall.” (2) Flower Fish Cave. Exiting the Monkey Cave, cross the canyon southward for 300 meters to reach the Flower Fish Cave, which is one of the most renowned karst caves in Baiyun. (3) Tianqiao (Natural Bridge). Located just 50 meters from the Flower Fish Cave, this attraction is a natural stone arch bridge, 30 meters long and 25 meters wide.
