Xizhuang Red Army Monument

　　The Xizhuang Red Army Monument in Suichuan County is situated in Xizhuang Village, 2 kilometers southwest of the county town, along the Su (chuan)–Jing (gangshan) Highway. A martyrs' cemetery was built here in 1974. In the spring of 1991, the “Suichuan County Xizhuang Red Army Martyrs Monument” was erected. The monument base covers an area of 30 square meters, and the monument itself stands 21 meters tall with six sides. The front bears the inscription of the monument’s name, written by General Xiao Ke, while the north side is engraved with a memorial text in honor of the martyrs.
